FAQ ABOUT BSR

The Body Stress Release (BSR) technique locates the precise sites of body stress and applies light but definite pressure to release it. In this way BSR assists the body in restoring its natural ability to maintain and heal itself.

What is Body Stress Release?

Body Stress Release is a gentle technique that identifies and releases tension stored in the body due to physical, mental, or emotional stress. By releasing this tension, BSR aims to restore the body’s natural ability to heal itself, promoting better overall health.

How does Body Stress Release work?

BSR practitioners use a series of light, targeted movements to identify areas of tension in the body. These movements encourage the body to release stored stress, allowing it to relax and function more effectively.

Is Body Stress Release painful?

No, BSR is a non-invasive and gentle technique. It is designed to be painless, and most clients feel relaxed during the session – some even fall asleep!

What should I expect during a Body Stress Release session?

During a BSR session, you will lie down fully clothed. The practitioner will gently assess areas of stored tension and use light pressure to encourage release. A session usually lasts around 30 to 45 minutes and will end with a calming 5 minutes of Reiki. Reiki is a technique from Japanese origin to reduce stress and enhance relaxation even more – a little extra to you from me personally :-).
